You will spend at least an hour here no matter why you are there. Don't try to figure out their numbering system. It makes no sense. The security guard keeps the lobby quiet. You will be asked to leave if you do not listen. The staff is nice. Never go around lunch. That's a guaranteed 2 hour wait. They have 20 windows but about half are actually staffed. Do as much as you can online before actually going in.
Arrived at 8:45 am on a Thursday and the line was already overflowing into the parking lot... However, I was out the door and home before 9:30 am. The gentlemen who assisted me at the desk was quick and efficient. Get there early and be prepared with the the proper documents/forms and you won't wait too long for your number to be called.
They do good job ! Human species supposed to properly behave on there own with without any security guards. Unfortunately some people can't .
Wow, the people here obviously don’t understand how government buildings work. If you’re complaining about the security guard doing his job, then you need to go to another SS building. People need to listen on the intercom for their numbers and instead you want to talk and be disrespectful to others around you. Also, be prepared and listen carefully to instructions. If you can’t do that, then go somewhere else. It’s good to have rules and regulations. You can’t always get what you want! I loved the process. It was fast and simple! But of course I looked online for the documents I was needing BEFORE I came to this location. It’s called BEING PREPARED!
Security guard is rude. He gets mad if anyone talks...don’t even whisper because you’ll get in trouble for that too. He treats everyone like they are children. He really needs to quit because it’s obvious he doesn’t like his job. ALSO, we called twice to check what documents we needed to bring up there. I waited over an hour only to be told I needed another document. I even explained how we called up there and weren’t told we needed that additional document. My husband ended up going up there the next day waited over an hour and he said they didn’t even check that additional document that they told me I HAD to have.
