Maybe the worst home depot in all of North Texas. Customer service is horrible. The managers are more concerned with doing interviews than they are with sorting out problems that pro customers have. I only came back to this store because the regional GM asked me to give them another shot. Some things remain the same. I will be going to Lowe's at 380 and Custer from now on
Out of all the Home Depots, Lowe's, Calloway's, and privately owned garden centers in the McKinney-Frisco area, this one is the best. It's a little bit out of the way for me, but it has the best plants, the cleanest, neatest shop, and the best service I've found.
Now I've been waiting for 40 minutes and am still waiting for a rep with a fork lift outside to load a few SQ of shingles in lnto my truck. The last rep helped a gentleman in front of me but when finished , left and never came back. I asked if I could just grab the materials and a rep said no, they will handle it.
When I first went there, I walked out without buying anything, but they treated me as politely as they would a buyer. When I came back, I found everything I needed and saw that they carried certain fertilizers that I didn't see anywhere else.
Great customer service. Went out of the way to help me find what I needed.
Terrible experience. I pulled along the side of the building where the inside rep advised me to go to pick up shingles and a worker outside yelled at me when I did and walked away. Not sure what he even said since it's pretty difficult to hear when Windows are rolled up.
Side note, the reps at the cashier line were very friendly.
I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of service outside. Hopefully I'm not here much longer... but with the way things are going right now , I'm not holding my breathe.
We bought a very expensive refrigerator there and within a year it went out, we went in to the store for help, as we had tons of food in it. They had no way to fix it right away, we called from the store to Home Depot, and they were not even slightly helpful!!!!!!! We were going out of town the next day, so we just made the appointment have the guy come out, its been a week, we had to buy a freezer, and have lost everything in the fridge. I am not happy!!!!!!!
