This is an excellent large park not only for the dogs. There are small plastic pools for the dogs on hot days and plenty of parking. There are not many shaded areas so make sure to drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen. There are public restrooms which is always a plus if your going to be out for a significant amount of time.
The dog park here is great. There are three separate areas for dogs to play in: small dog area, large dog area, and a water play area. The water play area has several fountains and small pools for your doggie to cool off in. Most of the patrons are very responsible and clean up after their dogs so it is one of the cleaner parks I've been to. Always a fun time.
Great place to take your kids. Family oriented. Lot of bicyclist and family's and great place to walk your dog.
McKinney didn't have a dog park when I lived here before and this one was worth the wait! Large area with shade and a water park!! Large and small dog areas and plenty of close parking.
A beautiful park. Has a shaded trail along Wilson Creek, a well thought-out dog park, a lake, and wheelchair access to the restrooms and water.
